The beginnings of this carnival date back to February 1947 when a group of young people from the town of Domegliera went to Verona in search of ideas for their carnival.

Wandering around the city they saw the word Valbusa written on a bin, they liked this name very much and they decided to create the Duchy of Valbusa, a kingdom of joy governed by the Duke, which is elected every year by a popular assembly.

In the 1950s, the "Carnealon" even gave itself a hymn: lassa pur che 'l mondo el diga…

 Allegorical floats, folk groups and the people in animate the streets of the Duchy, with confetti, dances, songs, jokes and jokes, joy and fun for young and old.

Having said that, you really can't miss this event, where fun and joy are at home!

The carnival begins Saturday, January 27 and Sunday, January 28 with the election of the Duke and Ducehssa doi Valbusa in the Duchy bar.
